i've begun teaching a continuing education class at a local community college. it's interesting to teach, these are people that are taking time out of their day to learn. they want to be there for no other reason than to learn. it's a bit intimidating because of that. it's very fun and enjoyable though. teaching now after not doing it for about a month made me realize how much i really do enjoy it. it is such fun to get up front and teach something and what a high to have them actually understand. i feel like i'm making a difference in these peoples lives. i hope i'm not just kidding myself when i think that people enjoy my class and will look back on it in the future with smiles as well as knowledge.
interestingly enough, i'm going to begin teaching an after school elementary class again. who would have thought i would ever do that again. i begin next week. it's quite different because this is through an agency that parents pay for their child to go and it very organized. we'll see how it goes. i'm hoping it's fun and that i'll want to do it again.
